UPDATE: WDC's on hold, CONTEST deadline extended!

Thank you guys SO much for the feedback, it's always helpful to know that's going on with your end of the group! So after consideration to everyone who has commented, here's the final verdict:

Our Weekly Drawing Challenge is currently on hold, and will resume on June 16th.

Meanwhile, if you guys would like to show Eve, Yo-yo, Power Failure, Taboo, Spirit, and Forever Man a little love, we wouldn't object! ^^ Those are the OCs who were featured during Exam season but didn't get a whole ton of art, and with lethal toys, tattoos, virtual immortality, and intriguing visual designs galore, why not take a stab at drawing them?~ We're only pausing the new weekly features. But you're ALWAYS welcome to go back and draw anyone who catches your eye that week...~


And the current contest (Alter Ego) has been extended to:

JUNE 30!

Both writing and drawing categories are still open for submission!

So hopefully this will help some of you out, and we can refresh ourselves in June.

The Monthly Mission and Chaturday attempts will carry on as usual. ...for now... We do have some brand new projects in the works, including a revamp to make Chaturdays a bit more exciting... and we can't wait to introduce you guys to them! But we're going to make you wait on that, because we're evil that way.

Previous announcement:

Since this is the time of year when so many of us are up to our elbows in school work and studies, it seems best for CTTOC to spend Study Season revamping and polishing a few of our existing features rather than pumping out new activities. (Plenty of time for that in the summer, after all!)

But what about the ones that are already running? Do we need to put a few things on pause?

We've noticed an uncharacteristic lack of entries from you guys for the sixth contest, as well as dwindling submissions to the Weekly Drawing Challenge.

We're considering putting the WDC on hold for a little while, because the activity has slowed down quite a bit and it's not really fair to any artist whose character is being featured when everyone's preoccupied with school stuff. And we completely understand that a lot of your are busy right about now.

So what do you think, should we take a bit of a break? When are you guys free from school? When would be a good time to pick it up again?

If we don't have answers, we're going to pause the WDC for now and resume it at the beginning of June.

As for the contest... You DO have until the very end of May to create, polish, and submit an entry! Since this is a topic so many of you guys are so excited about, if the results fall flat by the deadline we'll just store it away for a more active time.
